The Challenge

With 12 different consultants working for the U.S., the U.K. and Australia based on Jira tickets and end-user needs, this client began seeing inconsistencies and instabilities among the applications, which, in turn, affected performance and end-user satisfaction.

What We Did

Cumberland Irving developed a work plan and work plan review that matched the purpose of each of the applications being used. Additionally, Cumberland Irving ‘cleaned out’ rules and patch work, providing a roadmap for architectural review and migration to TM1 Planning Analytics.


The client was able to refer a structured roadmap that was provided and start seeing the results of having a consistent work stream and better organization of work, which allowed for a decrease of external consultants from 12 to six, as well as an introduction to the latest IBM Planning Analytics platform.
